INTRODUCTION OF SERVICES
We are pleased to Introduce 1st Point Construction Solutions. We were established in early 2011 as a premiere Construction Management firm in our region capable of working with the most well-established names in the industry. Each member of our experienced team of employees have careers ranging from 15 to 30 years in this field. We always endeavor to provide the highest quality services available. We are also a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) of the New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council and for the State of New York MBE Program. This brings added value to agencies who require our professional services in the market.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
We have experience working with clients in the private and public sectors. We provide CM professional services at risk and as agency representatives. Our goal is to be the owner’s first line of defense to mitigate cost exposure and to provide oversight and planning for all client issues. We believe communication is vital in keeping all stakeholders informed and educated regarding where a project is at all times. We strive to keep accurate, up-to-date information. As a result, clients can have access to project information, overall budget, the schedule and a myriad of reports and logs through our Project Administration process which entails producing and maintaining all logs of information flow.
At conclusion of the project, we will work seamlessly to insure all closeout documentation is collected and distributed to the owner. Training and instruction is coordinated with owner occupants who are responsible for operation of installed systems. We will always operate efficiently to closeout all cost issues in a timely fashion.
Our Post Construction philosophy is to maintain and continue with the same level of commitment and effort to fully deliver a successful project as established at the onset. We uniquely understand that completing a project requires dedication to the goal of protecting the client by completing closeout documentation, commissioning, training, audits of final contractor payments and ultimately final owner acceptance. In addition, we track the client’s satisfaction level by requesting a completion survey. It is critical to know how we compare to our competitors and to find ways to improve in real time.
DESIGN/BUILD
We offer our professional construction services as a design/build team partner. Teaming arrangements are advantageous to a designer who seeks a strong partner on the construction side. We offer the following Pre-Construction servcies:
Cost estimating/budgeting
Design review and cost adherence
Constructability reviews
Feasibility Studies
During the Construction Phase we specifically offer Project Management services including direct involvement with overall oversight of subcontractors, vendors & suppliers, maintaining equipment requirements, site planning, permits, project closeout, change order management, scheduling, financial projections and processing of all pay applications. During this phase, we work to protect the Design partner’s interest by mitigating change orders and cost issues that may arise. We are proactive in all phases to keep supplemental instructions flowing to subcontractors when necessary. Our goal is to deliver a zero-change order project.
